Has anyone lost files or programs doing an update of Xp to Vista?
I have about 40g of data i would really hate to lose... I know this is a beta release, I have the stones to update without bitching afterwards, just want to have a fair amount of tranquility before getting to it...
I can't create a partition due to low space on disk, but i can update!

Losing Files & Programs
No, but you can lose functionality in some applications and some programs might require updating before they are functional again under Vista. I suggest running the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor to help diagnose problems from now:
